Can I organise staff by department?
Yes. Departments form a tree, each with an optional manager.
How is attendance recorded?
One record per employee per day with the clock in and clock out times and the hours worked.
Can I mark someone late or absent?
Yes. Each day is classed as present, absent, late or half day.
What are shifts?
Work windows with a start and end time and a grace period for late arrival.
How do leave requests work?
An employee applies for days of a leave type, and a manager approves or rejects it.
Can leave types have yearly balances?
Yes. Each type has its days per year and whether it is paid.
Can I record public holidays?
Yes. Add official days off, including ones that repeat every year.
How is payroll worked out?
For each employee and month it takes the basic salary, adds bonuses and allowances and subtracts deductions.
What are salary items?
Recurring additions such as allowances and deductions such as insurance, applied to every pay run.
Can I give a one off bonus?
Yes. Record a bonus on a date, and the payroll of that month picks it up.
Can I record deductions?
Yes. Record administrative or financial deductions against an employee.
Can employees take advances?
Yes. Record an advance with a monthly amount that is repaid from salary.
What is the payroll status?
Each pay run moves from draft to approved to paid.
Can I keep contracts?
Yes. Full time, part time or temporary contracts with their dates and probation.
Can I store scanned documents?
Yes. IDs, passports, certificates and more, with alerts when they expire.
What is custody?
Company items an employee holds, such as a laptop or keys, with handover and return dates.
Can I reward good performance?
Yes. Record incentives with their amount, date and reason.
Is there an HR overview?
Yes. The HR dashboard shows the workforce, this month payroll and items that need attention.
Can a technician be an employee?
Yes. Repair technicians are employees marked as technicians, with their commissions.
Can employees have a login?
Yes. An employee can get a login with a role such as cashier or manager.
Can job titles suggest a role?
Yes. A job title can carry a default role that is offered when a login is created.
Does a cashier shift relate to HR shifts?
They are different: HR shifts are work hours, and cashier shifts are sessions on a cash register.
Is staff data kept in my own database?
Yes. Your store runs on its own installation and database.
